Summary of Research: My current research and technical development is focused on the advanced image proceessing techniques for identifying objects/patterns on digital airphotos and high spatial-resolution satellite imagery across a large area, accuracy assessment of vegetation structure maps established using imagery and ground measurements, and development of GIS tools and software using ArcObjects, COM/DCOM and .NET.
